Izzy Russell
Izzy is a freelance trainer and regularly forms a happily married training team with her husband, Andrew Russell! Izzy’s background is in primary teaching, but she has been interested in mental health issues for many years. Her experience of helping children in families who lost someone to suicide was what gave her a passion to save lives from suicide. The ASK Workshop now enables her to save children’s lives too. Izzy is based in the North-East of England, but has trained all over the country with Andrew.
When not training, Izzy is often to be found running over the NorthYorkshire Moors with her little black dog or inspecting her honeybees.

Dr Marie Murphy
I have been delivering suicide prevention training for 15 years and have been asked many times, but what about children? The ASK Workshop has filled a knowledge and skills gap that has been missing from our suicide prevention work.
I am an HCPC registered Counselling Psychologist, currently working therapeutically with children and young people and in a managerial role with therapists. I find the skills I have learned on The ASK Workshop are invaluable to my work. I feel so grateful to be able to share this with others to increase their confidence and to keep our children safer from suicide.
